Director Paul’s Message

Aloha kākou!

As the summer days fly by, our campus is buzzing with activity, all thanks to our incredible staff who are diligently preparing for a fantastic new school year. Before diving into the amazing work happening around campus, I want to extend a heartfelt mahalo nui loa to our Vice Principals, Geordan and Nouveau, for their invaluable support in ensuring my smooth transition into the role of Po’okumu. Their guidance and collaboration have been truly appreciated.

A huge mahalo also goes out to our facilities specialists, Mr. Jon and Mr. Adam! They have been doing an outstanding job getting all our classrooms ready for the learners’ return. From making sure everything is in tip-top shape to tackling those last-minute fixes, their hard work will ensure a welcoming and productive learning environment for everyone. Their efforts also extend to the exciting early stages of securing contractors for our new art and Hawaiian studies classrooms. We’re thrilled to see progress on these vital additions to our campus, which will undoubtedly enrich our learners’ educational experience.

We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Patricia in the front office. Their tireless dedication is truly the backbone of our school operations. They’ve been working diligently on budgeting, ordering essential supplies, and expertly setting up classes. Furthermore, their invaluable support for our new teachers and Educational Assistants joining our ʻohana has been instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition for everyone.

It is through the collaborative spirit and hard work of individuals like Mr. Jon, Mr. Adam, Ms. Jennifer, and Ms. Patricia that our school continues to thrive. We are so fortunate to have such dedicated professionals on our team!

For this week’s image, I’m sharing a bit of the beautiful view of the drive to campus everyday. ☺️

Mahalo and malama pono.
