Aloha mai kakou to the learning community of Alaka’i O Kaua’i Charter School, and we hope this message finds you all in good health and happiness as we reach the midpoint of June.
Mahalo nui kakou to all the dedicated individuals who work at the school as twelve month employees. They are truly the glue that holds our school together. Their tireless efforts over the summer ensure that school is ready to roll once we arrive back in late summer.
Ms. Jennifer has been one of the steady pillars of strength throughout Alaka’i O Kaua’i Charter School’s history. Most of you know of her friendly and helpful disposition infused with a hefty amounts of perseverance and talent. Ms. Jennifer has skillfully supported our school through her amazing work in the Main Office. Early in the start of the school, Ms. Jennifer routinely worked 70-80 hours a week without extra compensation to ensure that Alaka’i O Kaua’i Charter School remained viable. There is little doubt that our school would not have survived those early days without her dedication, professionalism, and commitment to improving education. Ms. Jennifer has successfully moved Alaka’i O Kaua’i Charter School from surviving to thriving and we are deeply appreciative of her work.
As we continue to move into our bright future the background historical knowledge that Ms. Jennifer has of our school has proven invaluable. Ms. Jennifer does an incredible job of connecting all parts of our learning community together and keeping us moving towards positive growth.
