David "DJ" Adams
David Adams, or DJ, as his friends call him, has over 30 years of experience in education, including being a successful school administrator at over ten different schools in three different countries (Canada, Oman, and the United States of America).
His achievements include winning national awards by significantly improving underperforming schools at various grade levels. DJ with the support of the Royal Family of Sultan Qaboos also opened a successful project-based learning school in Muscat, Oman. He is well-versed in project-based learning from his international experiences and is currently serving on the Hawai’i Innovation Leaders Network to expand project-based learning in our beautiful state. DJ also runs a nonprofit agency that has distributed over 800 pairs of running shoes to people in need.
DJ lives in sunny Kekaha with his wife, Dr. Pamela Adams, whom he married on Oahu over 30 years ago. In his spare time, DJ competes in triathlons and is currently training for the 2024 Ironman Honu 70.3 and is hoping to re-qualify for the Ironman World Championships.
