Director Paul’s Message

Mahalo & The November Wellness Focus

Aloha kākou! As the weather cools and we move into November, we shift our focus to intentional wellness and gratitude to ensure our learners and staff remain balanced and energized throughout the coming holidays. This month, we are concentrating on key Healthy Habits to sustain our energy and mental well-being.

🧭 Physical Health & Maintaining Balance:

November brings exciting family time and schedule changes, but maintaining routine is key to energy and focus (Pono).

  • Sleep Schedule: We encourage everyone (learners and staff) to prioritize the Rest and Recharge guideline, aiming for consistent sleep hours even with upcoming days off. A good night’s sleep is the best defense against stress!
  • Mindful Eating: As we approach this holiday season, we are emphasizing Mindful Snacking and Balanced Meals. We teach learners that food is fuel. We encourage everyone to enjoy holiday celebrations while balancing those treats with nutrient-dense choices to maintain energy and focus.

We wish you all a safe, mindful, and deeply grateful final weeks of November!
