School news and events for the week of {date}

As I was walking to school last week, I happened upon one of my kindergarten facilitators. I asked her, “How is project-based learning working out with such young learners?” She replied, “It is the best way for children to learn at their level of understanding and development.” I was struck by her response, because she made it clear to me that kindergarten learners gain a better understanding of the concept they are being taught through hands-on learning, which is the foundation of project-based learning, the foundation of our curriculum.
