Ms. Cheyenne

Grade 4 Facilitator

Cheyenne originally from Texas, but has been teaching elementary school in Hawaii for the past 6 years. She spent her first four years at Leihoku Elementary School in Waianae on Oahu and the past two years at Kapa’a Elementary School on Kauai! Cheyenne got her Bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas and her Master’s in Education from Chaminade University of Honolulu.

When Cheyenne is not at school, she teaches 5 yoga/fitness classes a week at local studios and loves running marathons. She also enjoys spending time in nature – going hiking or trail running, watching sunset, or taking her dogs, Tika and Nalu, to the beach. She also loves to read, play games, and spend quality time with her friends and family.

Cheyenne’s teaching reflects her passion for life-long learning. She wants her students to discover the same love of learning, freedom of expression, and drive to achieve their dreams that she was so fortunate to receive. Cheyenne loves creating a safe space for her students where they feel loved, supported, and like they belong!
