Ms. Pamela

Special Education Facilitator

Ms. Pam earned her Bachelor’s Degrees in Elementary Education (K-8) and Broad Area Special Education (Preschool – Age 21) from Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA. This is her 20th year in education and has taught in Kindergarten, 3rd-6th grades, and 9th-12th grades. She has been a Varsity Cheer Coach for 4 years and a Circus Parent Volunteer for 8 years. In 2017, she moved to Kauai to serve the complex in several roles, including as an Inclusion Teacher, Resource Room, and Beginning Special Education Teacher Mentor. She comes to us this year having spent the last 8 years teaching on Kaua’i.

Ms. Pam was born and raised in Oregon, and while there attended college and met her husband. Her family includes her husband Brian of 30 years, her son Cole and his lovely wife Noelani, and her daughter Courtney and partner Devin. She has been fortunate enough that after her children finished college, they both had the opportunity to work within the community of Kauai and have also made it their home. She has two pups, Luna is a pomeranian, and Mahina is a little mix of all things adorable.

In her free time, Ms. Pam loves to hike, camp, garden, listen to Audible, bake, and spend time with family and friends.
