Ms. Barb

Educational Assistant

Barbara Howard joined our staff in 2021 as an Educational Assistant. She has previous elementary and preschool experience. In addition, she has had extensive involvement with youth while conducting art classes at a local art school, Kaua’i Underground Artists (KUGA), and in New Mexico, where she volunteered in Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, FIRST Robotics, and 4-H.

Barb and Mark have been married since 1991 and share two wonderful adult children. She loves spending time with her family and friends on Kaua’i and in her native New Mexico. They moved to Kaua’i in 2016 and love island life. Barb enjoys many activities, including pickleball, hiking, biking, puzzles, board games, and listening to music. She also loves creating art in a variety of mediums and has had a small business for the past 26 years. Barb enjoys working with children and hopes to be a positive influence in their lives.
