I am grateful to be part of the Alakaʻi O Kauaʻi team! My name is Jennifer Irene Barragan, and I have been in the field of education for 10 years, with experience in school counseling, kindergarten, first grade, and as an English teacher with Job Corps. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Elementary Education from the University of Texas at El Paso. I enjoy volunteering, serving those around me, and continually growing and learning. I am thankful to be part of a team that applies real-world knowledge to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and help create a better world.
