Cara Brosius

Our Special Education Teacher, Cara Brosius has over 20 years of experience in education, with the past 10 years working in Charter Schools. Her experience working with a variety of learning styles and modalities helps her teach the whole child and gives students a voice in their learning. She received her B.A. in Sociology from CSU Chico and her M.S. in Special Education from National University.

She has two children, who attend or have attended Alaka’i O Kaua’i Charter school since its inception. She truly believes in school choice and the exceptional education of Alaka`i has been the choice for her family for 5 years.
